this is based on googlebar 0.9.15.14 (link<\/a>)<\/p>\n

In order to install googlebar on a 3.5+ firefox dist then follow these steps:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. download the original xpi: https:\/\/addons.mozilla.org\/en-US\/firefox\/addon\/33<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. renane .xpi to .zip or open with an archive extractor<\/li>\n
  3. open install.rdf<\/strong> with a text editor<\/li>\n
  4. locate: em:maxVersion=”3.0.*”<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. change to em:maxVersion=”X.X.*” <\/strong>[for instance: em:maxVersion=”3.5.*]
    \n<\/strong><\/li>\n
  6. pack everything back into the an xpi file<\/li>\n
  7. install as normal.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
