Attach your storage medium and retry.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/xylem.aegean.gr\/%7Emodestos\/mo.blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/1007corrupt.JPG\" title=\"Nokia map loader\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/xylem.aegean.gr\/~modestos\/mo.blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/1007corrupt.JPG\" title=\"Nokia map loader\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/xylem.aegean.gr\/~modestos\/mo.blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/1007corrupt.JPG?w=1100\" alt=\"Nokia map loader\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here is a workaround I discovered.<\/p>\n<p>To start with, connect your mobile and select the Mass Storage option, or remove your memory card and attach it to your computer. You basically have to mount the card as a drive.<\/p>\n<p>1. Open a Windows File manager and go to the following directory: $System_rootDocuments and Settings$usernameLocal SettingsTemp<\/p>\n<p>On my winXP was: C:Documents and SettingsmodestosLocal SettingsTemp<\/p>\n<p>2. Run Nokia Map Loader<\/p>\n<p>3. Select the maps that you want and start downloading.<\/p>\n<p>4. go back to the file manager and locate a folder named &#8220;download_temp&#8221;.<br \/>\nIt only appears when downloading and if the installation fails then Nokia Map Loader deletes it.<\/p>\n<p>5. So, before downloading finishes make the &#8220;download_temp&#8221; folder read-only.<\/p>\n<p>6.Once Maploader finishes downloading the maps you selected, it will hang without deleting the maps&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>7.Copy the zip files somewhere safe.<\/p>\n<p>8. Open the zip files and extract the 01,02 &#8230; folders to your memory card under the folder <strike>Private20001f63diskcache<\/strike>. As of firmware version 20.0.X you must copy content in the <span style=\"color: #800000\">yourmemcard\/cities folder<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Overwrite all contents.<\/p>\n<p>9. Run Nokia Maps<\/p>\n<p>10. Do not forget to enable read\/write permissions to the download_temp folder.
