What are interactive installations?<\/p>\n

An [[interactive installation]] is a designed system that serves some purpose, either artistic or functional. It is the whole of a system of separate parts and apparatuses including both material artefacts (hardware) as well as algorithmic parts (software). Both hardware and software conjointly aim to support the designed actions that the system will perform.<\/p>\n

The design and development of such systems is mainly focusing to provide new forms of interaction.<\/p>\n
