This  \t\t\t\tswitch cannot be used with message classes that aren&#8217;t based on  \t\t\t\tOutlook.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong><a name=\"vba\"><\/a>\/altvba <em>otmfilename <\/em> <\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Opens the VBA program specified in <em>otmfilename<\/em>, rather  \t\t\t\tthan %appdata%MicrosoftOutlookVbaProject.OTM. Use this switch  \t\t\t\twhen you need to run macros not in your VBAProject file.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/c <em>messageclass<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Creates a new item of the specified message class, works for  \t\t\t\tany valid MAPI form.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Examples:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\/c ipm.activity creates a Journal entry <\/li>\n<li>\/c ipm.appointment creates an appointment <\/li>\n<li>\/c ipm.contact creates a contact <\/li>\n<li>\/c ipm.note creates an e-mail message <\/li>\n<li>\/c ipm.stickynote creates a note <\/li>\n<li>\/c ipm.task creates a task<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\/checkclient<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Prompts for the default manager of e-mail, news, and  \t\t\t\tcontacts.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/cleancategories<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Deletes any custom category names that you have created. Restores categories  \tto the default names.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong><a name=\"clean\"><\/a>\/cleanclientrules<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Starts Outlook and deletes client-based rules. Used by  \t\t\t\tnon-Exchange account users.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/cleandmrecords<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Deletes the logging records saved when a manager or a  \t\t\t\tdelegate declines a meeting. Used by Exchange Server accounts.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/cleanfinders<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Removes Search Folders from the Microsoft Exchange server  \t\t\t\tstore.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/cleanfreebusy<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Clears and regenerates free\/busy information. This switch can  \t\t\t\tonly be used when you are able to connect to your Microsoft  \t\t\t\tExchange server.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/cleanprofile<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Removes invalid profile keys and recreates default registry  \t\t\t\tkeys where applicable.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/cleanreminders<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Clears and regenerates reminders.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/cleanroamedprefs<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>All previous roaming preferences are deleted and copied again from the local  \tsettings on the computer where this switch is used. This includes the  \troaming settings for reminders, free\/busy grid, working hours, calendar  \tpublishing, and RSS rules.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/cleanrules<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Starts Outlook and deletes client- and server-based rules.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/cleanserverrules<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Starts Outlook and deletes server-based rules. Used only with  \t\t\t\tExchange server accounts.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/cleansharing<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Removes all RSS, Internet Calendar, and SharePoint subscriptions from  \tAccount Settings, but leaves all the previously downloaded content on your  \tcomputer. Use this if you are unable to delete one of these  \tsubscriptions within Outlook 2007.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/cleansniff<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Overrides the programmatic lockout that determines which of  \t\t\t\tyour computers (when running Outlook simultaneously) processes  \t\t\t\tmeeting items. The lockout process helps prevent duplicate  \t\t\t\treminder messages. This switch clears the lockout on the  \t\t\t\tcomputer it is used, enabling Outlook to process meeting items.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/cleansubscriptions<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Deletes the subscription messages and properties for  \t\t\t\tsubscription features. Used with SharePoint alerts.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/cleanviews<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Restores default views. Use with care as all custom views you  \t\t\t\tcreated are lost.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/embedding<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Opens the specified message file (.msg) as an OLE embedding.  \t\t\t\tAlso used without command-line parameters for standard OLE  \t\t\t\tco-create.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/f <em>msgfilename<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Opens the specified message file (.msg) or Microsoft Office  \t\t\t\tsaved search (.oss).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/firstrun<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Starts Outlook as if it were run for the first time.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/folder<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Opens a new window in &#8220;folder&#8221; mode (Navigation Pane off).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/hol <em>holfilename<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Opens the specified .hol file.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/ical <em>icsfilename<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Opens the specified .ics file.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/importprf <em>prffilename<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Launches Outlook and opens\/imports the defined MAPI profile  \t\t\t\t(*.prf). If Outlook is already open, queues the profile to be  \t\t\t\timported on the next clean launch.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/l <em>olkfilename<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Opens the specified .olk file.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/launchtraininghelp <em> assetid<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Opens a Help window with the Help topic specified in <em> assetid<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/m <em>emailname<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Provides a way for the user to add an e-mail name to the  \t\t\t\titem. Use either the full address or let alias resolve. Only  \t\t\t\tworks in conjunction with the \/c command-line parameter.<\/p>\n<p>Usage:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Outlook.exe \/c ipm.note \/m <em>test@poremsky.com<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Outlook.exe \/c ipm.note \/m <em>dianep<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/nocustomize<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Starts Outlook without loading outcmd.dat (customized  \t\t\t\ttoolbars). With older versions of Outlook the *.fav file doesn&#8217;t  \t\t\t\tload.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/noextensions<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Starts Outlook with extensions turned off, but listed in the  \t\t\t\tAdd-In Manager.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/nopreview<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Starts Outlook with the Reading Pane off and removes the  \t\t\t\toption from the <strong>View<\/strong> menu.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/p <em>msgfilename<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Prints the specified message (.msg). To change the default folder names to another language such  \t\t\tas Japanese or English, you can use this switch to reset the default  \t\t\tfolder names after changing the user interface language or  \t\t\tinstalling a different language version of Outlook.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\/resetfolders<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Restores missing folders for the default delivery location.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/resetformregions<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Empties the form regions cache and reloads the form region definitions from  \tthe Windows registry.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/resetsearchcriteria<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Resets all Instant Search criteria so that the default set of criteria is  \tshown in each module.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/resetsharedfolders<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Removes all shared folders from the Navigation Pane.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>\/resettodobar<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Clears and regenerates the To-Do Bar task list for the current profile. Removes all Shortcuts and Favorite Folders.
