\nThe Hellenic Conference on Artificial Intelligence is organised biannually by the Hellenic Artificial Intelligence Society (EETN). It provides an opportunity for Greek AI scientists all over the world to disseminate their research results, to exchange views and experiences, and to foster collaborations. International participation is highly welcome too.<\/p>\nThe 5th Hellenic Conference on Artificial Intelligence (SETN’08), will be held in Syros, Greece on October 2-4, 2008. SETN’08 is organised by EETN, in collaboration with the Department of Product and Systems Design Engineering at the University of the Aegean. The conference aims:<\/p>\n
\n- to bring together Greek researchers who work actively on the field of
\nArtificial Intelligence and to support the exchange of opinions and the
\nformation of new research groups and collaborations,<\/li>\n - to disseminate the results of the Greek AI community and Greek research labs
\nand to foster international collaborations,<\/li>\n - to inform undergraduate and postgraduate students about the current AI
\nresearch conducted by scientists in Greece and worldwide,<\/li>\n - to promote the research results to companies and facilitate the development
\nof innovative products.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nTopics<\/strong>

Submission Instructions<\/strong>
\nAccepted papers will be published in the Springer LNAI (Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence) series. The layout of the papers must be prepared according to the Instructions for the Preparation of Camera-Ready Contribution to LNAI\/LNCS Proceedings. Papers must not exceed 12 pages in the LNCS format.<\/p>\nImportant Dates<\/strong>
