Monome are a small company based in Philadelphia, who design and build a range of controller/display boxes that can be interfaced to music software. That in itself isn't too remarkable — the market is awash with fader units and mixing surfaces of various shapes and sizes — but Monome units are something different. Read a thorough review here. monome is brian crabtree and kelli cain. They do minimalist interfaces. They are minimalists. http://vimeo.com/8301567 http://vimeo.com/14955241

The festival is an annual celebration of films dedicated to architecture, fashion, photography, street art, motion graphics, technology and the subcultures of design. In 2011, the festival returns with a brand new line-up, an expanded programme and new collaborations. Here is the website: http://www.designfilmfestival.com/   http://vimeo.com/30069465

interaction design prototyping tools

By |2016-01-12T21:09:33+02:00May 14th, 2011|design, Interaction Design, user experience design (UX)|0 Comments

This post is about free and commercial (most are online) prototyping tools that can be used for interaction design and user experience design. I try hard to categorise these tools in different sections according to their major scope, functionality or purpose, but in many cases these can be used in different design practice contexts.
