Θεματική: Ανάλυση και Σχεδίαση Διαδράσεων με Απτικές Τεχνολογίες (Haptics)
Περιγραφή: Η εργασία εστιάζει στην ανάλυση και σχεδίαση διαδραστικών συστημάτων με έμφαση στην χρήση απτικών τεχνολογιών και τεχνικών αλληλεπίδρασης. Η εργασία μπορεί να έχει σχεδιαστικό ή ερευνητικό/πειραματικό χαρακτήρα.
Στην πρώτη περίπτωση κρίνεται απαραίτητη η ανάλυση των απαιτήσεων ενός συγκεκριμένου πλαισίου ανθρώπινης δραστηριότητας που θα επιλεγεί σε συνεννόηση με τους φοιτητές και στην συνέχεια θα εστιάσει στην μοντελοποίηση ενός πρότυπου συστήματος για την υποστήριξη των συγκεκριμένων δραστηριοτήτων. Η εργασία θα περιλαμβάνει έρευνα και ανάλυση απαιτήσεων, μεθοδολογική προσέγγιση της σχεδίασης, υλοποίηση συστήματος και αξιολόγηση.
Η εργασία μπορεί να εστιάζει επίσης στην πειραματική σχεδίαση και αξιολόγηση απτικών διαδράσεων. Σε συνεννόηση με τους φοιτητές θα επιλεγεί ο πειραματικός χαρακτήρας της εργασίας, θα τεθούν τα ερευνητικά ερωτήματα και θα προσδιορισθεί το πλαίσιο του πειράματος. Η αξιολόγηση μπορεί να πραγματοποιηθεί στο εργαστήριο Διαδραστικών Συστημάτων από το οποίο θα παρέχεται και ο σχετικός με την εργασία εξοπλισμός όπως: Cybertouch, SensAble Phantom (Touch X), Ultrahaptics
